Samir and Cora Badr

1998 New-Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Service

A commitment to customer service is what drives Samir Badr and his wife Cora. After arriving in Kitimat from Lebanon in 1973, Mr. Badr was trained to become a welder before starting and operating a successful janitorial company in kitimat. The Badr’s then moved to the Lower Mainland and established Masterpiece Floor Maintenance. They knew from their past experiences that the key to success was in specialization, so they decided on floor maintenance and set out to provide customers with the best service possible. Their commitment to customer service is exhibited by the “ Customer is always right” attitude. The Badr’s ensure that their customers are completely satisfied with the results by maintaining constant contact with their clients. Mr. Badr is a member of several associations and contributes to various charities.
